Paula Adkins is a photographer and owns a professional studio in South Central Kentucky. She has been photographing weddings since 1994, and has developed a unique style and manner of truly documenting a wedding day unlike others in her field. In an unobtrusive manner, Paula has the ability to capture the feeling and emotion of your wedding day on film, not posing it. A true heirloom is a storybook that gives you timeless memories of not only you and those close to you, but the emotions of the day as well. Her energy and obvious love for what she does immediately puts those around her at ease.

Paula now uses her talent to personally photograph nearly 50 events each year. Working largely unnoticed, she photograph's each wedding with a photojournalist's eye. She has photographed weddings of all sizes, faiths, and cultures throughout the Kentucky area.

Beginning almost 35 years ago with her love of photographing her family and friends, Paula developed a talent for capturing children on film. Believing that a child should be photographed in a natural style has become a signature characteristic for her present day work.  Not having the typical "cheesy smile" or overly posed format are the keys to giving her clients a portrait that they'll cherish forever. Her work validates that she strives for photographic excellence and emphasizes an artistic and classic approach to her photography.
