Here you will find examples of our work in children's portraits. Photography by Paula has the unique ability to have your child's photo session at our studio or you may have it in comfort of your home.

Children are unique individuals with widely differing personalities and reactions to the portrait creation experience. Our goal is to create an impression that is true to your child.

Paula helps children feel comfortable in front of the camera by giving them objects of interest to hold. In this way, she is able to capture the essence of your child, during their portrait session.

We also believe the portrait is about the child not the outfit. To that end, we suggest simple classic clothing in white or muted tones. Solids are best, as the eye is drawn to patterns or decorative areas. Bare feet are always appropriate. A selection of clothing, from which you may borrow, is available in the studio. Please feel free to bring outfits that you are considering to the consultation. A timeless approach is Paula's goal of the session.
